Pauline McCann is now sales director after serving as sales manager for seven years. Her expanded role will see her take on greater responsibility for the strategic development of the company and continue to drive growth of its recently-launched neoprene moulding solution.
Andrew Smith, managing director at Subsea Supplies, said:
“The appointment of Pauline as a director of the business is well deserved. Her drive, commitment and experience during a testing period for many oil and gas firms in the past few years was invaluable to the business as we look forward to better times for the industry as whole.”
Pauline said:
“I’m delighted to be appointed a director of the business. We’re looking to develop our partnerships with other subsea-related companies and plan to increase our profile and service offering in markets outwith the UK. There is huge potential for growth for Subsea Supplies as we enter an exciting period for the business.”
Established in 2000, Subsea Supplies has built an industry-wide reputation for the supply of connectors, ROV umbilicals and tethers, submersible motors and other products relating to the underwater sector.
Last year the business launched a new neoprene moulding service offering after securing an official licence from Eaton to manufacture products using its internationally-recognised Burton Subsea Product Line. Subsea Supplies has been recognised by Eaton as its certified European partner for Burton neoprene connector and cabling assemblies.
The business has solutions from more than 1,500 product lines that can be ordered online 24/7. Subsea Supplies is exhibiting at Oceanology International Americas, with Eaton (stand G50) in San Diego (February 25-27), and at Ocean Business (stand Q11) in Southampton (April 9-11)
